Bathroom Remodel

During Spring Break our family bathroom has undergone a transformation, a labor of love involving three generations. With Grandpa Jim's guidance, my daughter's innovative vision, and my hands-on dedication, we've successfully retiled the floor, replaced the old shower with a sleek new one, and installed shiplap walls that add character and warmth to our space. The installation of a chic new vanity, a fresh coat of paint, and all the intricate finishing touches were all accomplished through teamwork. Each step was a blend of Jim's seasoned wisdom, my daughter's creative flair, and my desire to create a functional yet beautiful space. This remodel was a cherished family memory in the making, leaving us with not just a new bathroom but stories and experiences to treasure for a lifetime.

However, shortly after completing this project, life presented us with a challenge. My dad, Grandpa Jim, was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. This news brought a new perspective to our recent family endeavor. It underscored the preciousness of those moments spent together, each tile laid, and every paint stroke shared.

Through this experience, we've learned to cherish every moment, embrace change with courage, and support each other with unwavering love. As we navigate this new journey with my dad, the memories of working together on this project will continue to be a source of strength and joy.
